Project Summary: Individual biogas systems will be distributed strategically to improve access to sustainable energy, particularly for schools and farmers who rely heavily on wood and non-renewable fuels for cooking and heating. The distribution of these systems will be prioritised in areas where the use of traditional energy sources is widespread and where there is a significant dependence on unsustainable fuels.
Through partnerships with SACCOs and MFIs, biogas systems will be offered through heavily subsidised loans, enabling schools and farmers to earn profits and gain major advantages from reduced fuel costs. In return, each biogas user will transfer the rights to us, making this initiative possible and unlocking social benefits that further enhance the financial advantages.
