Stakeholder Engagement
At EK, our commitment to stakeholder engagement is integral to the success of our carbon projects. We prioritize gathering feedback from stakeholders at every stage of project development, starting with the planning phase.
Each of our projects initiates with a 'Local Stakeholder Meeting' held within the project area. This forum allows us to gather valuable insights tailored to the specific needs and concerns of the community. We carefully consider all feedback received during these meetings to inform the design and implementation of our projects.
Subsequently, we compile a comprehensive Stakeholder Consultation Report summarizing the meeting proceedings, participant details, and key feedback received. This report serves as a transparent record of our engagement efforts.
Recognizing the importance of ongoing dialogue, we provide stakeholders with additional opportunities to share their input. Our Stakeholder Feedback Round follows the initial meeting, allowing stakeholders to submit feedback directly to us or our local partners. Throughout this 30-day period, stakeholders can access the project-specific Consultation Report and Non-Technical Summary, offering ample time to review and provide feedback via email, our website, traditional mail, or in-person meetings with our in-country partners.
We invite you to participate in shaping the future of our projects by sharing your insights during the Stakeholder Feedback Round.
